ASTA Student Chapter

Texas State University's Student Chapter of the American String Teachers Association (ASTA)  is one of the country's most active, providing excellent professional development opportunities for all string students interested in teaching. Winners of the 2018 award for "Most Improved Student Chapter," our student members have the opportunity to attend the annual ASTA National Conference as well as participating in regular on-campus and area enrichment events. Whether you are planning to teach in the classroom, thinking of setting up a private studio, or just getting interested, the Texas State ASTA chapter is for you!
