(2) Students who do not achieve 70% on the music theory placement test will be required to take MU5357 Graduate Music Theory and Musicianship in addition to the degree requirements listed below.
(3) Undergraduate Diction as well as one modern language (German, Italian, or French). If those courses were not part of the undergraduate program, students must fulfill the prerequisite requirements by the end of their Master’s studies. (Language proficiency equivalent to 2 years of Italian, German, or French in High School OR the first two semesters [1410 & 1420] of Italian, German, or French at the college level.)
