Staff Accompanist

Dr. Eric Thompson is the staff accompanist at Texas State University.  His duties include accompanying the Opera Department, Faculty & Student recitals, and various choral ensembles in the School of Music.  Dr. Thompson earned his undergraduate degree from University of Texas at San Antonio and his Masters and Doctorate Degrees from the University of Texas at Austin.  His teachers include Joanna Hodges and Gregory Allen.

Originally from San Antonio, Dr. Thompson now resides in New Brunfels with his wife and daughter.
