Mike Elliott

Mike Elliott was born in Glendale California, graduated from Van Nuys High in 1968 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He served four years as a Sea Bee. In 1970 and 71 was assigned to "Mobile Construction Battalion Three" and was sent to Viet Nam. Upon returning from duty in R.V.N. he spent his last 18 months of service as a member of the Sea Bee Pac. Drill Team, performing in parades and ceremonies on the West Coast, Hawaii and Frontier Days in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

M.F.A. Degree from California Institute of the Arts - Full scholarship with stipend - May 1979.

B.A. Degree from California State University, Northridge - Graduated Suma Cum Laude, June 1977.

A.A. Degree from Pierce College, June 1975

In 1979 and 1980, Mike worked in Hollywood as a stage hand and carpenter for Local #33 I.A.T.S. E. On October 15, 1980, he was hired by S.W.T. as the Production Coordinator for the newly-renovated Evans Auditorium.
