Bobby has been with Texas State since 1992. He currently lives in Buda, TX with his wife, Dorothy, and his 7 year old son, Forrest, and truly enjoys their time together as a family.
Bobby grew up in Dublin, GA and graduated from Georgia Southern College (Statesboro, GA) with a B.A. in Economics in 1976.
He has worked in recording studios since 1981, the year he was hired to work at Willie Nelson's Pedernales Recording Studio west of Austin. Not only was it great to work with Willie, but this time afforded him the opportunity to work with some more of his musical heroes such as Ray Charles and Neil Young.
Bobby began freelance engineering in 1988 and recorded in a variety of studios with such Austin favorites as Jr. Brown and Lucinda Williams. He continued to freelance until receiving the opportunity to work in the SRT Program.
