Juli Wood

Juli Wood is a member of the voice faculty at Texas State. For the past twenty-two years she has taught music at all levels in Texas and California. Her students have been welcomed into graduate and opera apprentice programs throughout the U.S., and several have been NATS winners and finalists for the Metropolitan Opera of New York.

Since 1993, she has performed many roles with the Lyric Opera of San Antonio, where music critic Michael Greenberg lauded her voice for its dark warm beauty, ample power, its brilliant edge in the high register, and great dramatic thrust.
