Brigitte Bellini

Award winning soprano and voice teacher Brigitte Bellini has recently relocated to the San Marcos area from New York City and is delighted to be joining the voice faculty at Texas State University. With over 13 years of teaching experience, she was one of the founding members of the voice faculty at The Actors Studio Drama School (as featured on BRAVO’S Inside the Actor’s Studio). She has also served on the faculties of New York University, New York’s famed High School for Performing Arts and The Horace Mann School, as well as maintaining a private studio of professional singers and actors.

Performance credits include appearances with The Colorado Symphony, Glimmerglass Opera, Tanglewood Music Festival, Sarasota Opera, Di Capo Opera Theater in New York City and Central City Opera, where she is featured on the their anniversary recording of THE BALLAD OF BABY DOE. A member of NATS and TMEA, she holds both Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA.
