Performing Arts Center Recital Hall
The second of two recitals featuring the music of (Franz) Joseph Haydn as performed by TX State piano students from the studios of Dr. Jason Kwak, Dr. Daria Rabotkina and Dr. Kyung Ae Lee.
Haydn (1732-1809) was an Austrian composer who is regarded as a principal architect of the classical style. His most celebrated pupil was Ludwig van Beethoven, and his musical form was reflected in works of subsequent composers, such as Schubert, Mendelssohn and Brahms.
Open to the public. No reservation or ticket is required. Fee-based parking is available at the Edward Gary Street Garage, across the street from the Performing Arts Center. (Attention students enrolled in the Department Recital course: This is a MAROON event).
