Sign-up (in the designated instrument slots, please) on the board outside of Room 224. Audition excerpts are available online at www.txstate.edu/bands  - please prepare all for your audition. Additionally, please prepare approximately three minutes of material that exhibits your best overall musicianship and be prepared to sight-read. Results will be tentative, with “final” results posted on Friday, December 4. First rehearsals will be January 19.

Be sure to register for the correct ensemble – Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds or Concert Band.

All music majors planning to participate in a wind band must audition for placement in one of the three ensembles! Non-music majors opting to perform in Concert Band do not need to audition.
